Celebrations

Last night here at the Mahaba Center we celebrated Halloween. Part of our mission is to bring the community together and this community has been without much of a Halloween celebration. Of course, Halloween is not a well known day in Tanzania, but for many young people from across the globe who are living here, it can be sad to miss a really fun holiday from your homeland. And, for parents who want to pass down those fun traditions, it can be difficult to raise your kids away from the fun celebrations. As a mom of teens who has raised her kids on three different continents overs the years….I really feel for these families. And, I’m so excited and happy to have a space that can truly be part of the community! Last night, Mahaba Center celebrated Halloween with many of our community families and we were so thrilled to have you all here. Looking forward to many more!
