The Mahaba Center was created to both celebrate and experience a love of art and nature.  Located in Arusha, Tanzania it is not only a place to buy fine art produced by talented artists of East Africa, but a place to experience art.  The Center is an interactive space.  From Tinga Tinga painting, to Maasai beaded jewelry to dance to gardening – Mahaba Center creates group classes to spark inspiration in learners of all ages.  

Mahaba Center offers weekly classes for young artists including Maasai beading, art, agriculture and cooking classes. Maasai beading and Tinga Tinga art classes are also available for individual bookings for children, adults, families and friends. Individual evening events are held as well to celebrate and participate in the creation of art. Field Trips can also be arranged.
